LUMINAIRE OPTIMISATION

RESEARCH MODEL

Role: Strategy, Lead

A collaborative research model targeted to maximise efficiency and application-specific performance of luminaire product lines under development. This strategy was developed to coordinate a study engaging both luminaire design expertise and lighting design consultation.

Applying an interdisciplinary approach, multi-industry technologies were utilised to produce a custom research environment, optimised for specific and comprehensive data gather. Centering the environment, an operational framework was assembled to ensure complete, end-to-end processing capacity.

Encompassing a detailed schedule of process, the model is configured to multiple pre-requisite resources including product and target sector information. Referencing these resources, ‘key-variable’ adjustments are applied in the production of test simulations, each generated to deliver a highly focused series of data points across a range of luminaire performance criteria.

Validation of the generated data would be derived via expert analysis and extensive empirical testing. Integrated assessment and feedback loops secure effective output and establishment of success metrics.
